Organise A Low Budget Party

Planning great parties does not mean that one should have a heavy budget!!!

Normally an exalted event requires loads of resources and money. But if you think a bit wisely and have the capability of managing it properly, than you can acquire the same effect at a much lower budget!

At occasions, we find that our wallet has shrinked, and we can’t afford to throw a party but there are certain situations when we have to give parties despite our low budget! Here are some nice and effective ways to help you minimize your party expenses-and save in ways that your guests will never notice. In fact they will do ‘oooh and aaah’ at your creativity:

  • You can decide the theme of the party according to the items that are present at your home. Just collect the decorative items that are available in your home. Arrange them neatly and enjoy.
  • “Appetizer” theme is really popular when it comes to Low Budget parties. They are a great way of serving masses, especially when you are short of resources.
  • Grilled bacon, halved tiny baked potatoes filled with cream, bacon and cheese and fried stuffed tortellini served with marinara sauce are the cheapest appetizer to serve people. But they are quite exotic too!
  • You can even stick to punch! Buy a powered drink, place it in a pitcher and add some water and crushed ice! People don’t need their own ’soda can’ as long as they have something to quench their thirst.
  • Limit the champagne to the toast. Instead of wine, serve less expensive drinks.
  • To arrange interesting buffet tables, one can use some unmatched china and crystal collected inexpensively at nearby sales! Mix and match your crockery and succumb to the whole experience of enjoying your delicacies in an altogether different but affordable way!
  • You can also use “snow” in ice buckets to chill wine, beer or soft drinks. Snow chills better than ice and is cheaper than the crushed ice.
  • How about an idea of making cake at home rather than purchasing it? Let one of your teens help you in the process of making the cake rather than hiring a professional cook that will take half of your salary!
  • You can keep the “entertainment” factor as simple as possible! Just let the kids run wild while the adults do the talking. Or what about a game of Charades or a last minute talent contest? Or may be dancing.
  • Making home pizzas, boiled corns with cheese or French fries always serve to be better options rather than purchasing these items from an expensive restaurant.
  • If you don’t have a personal video recorder, than you can borrow it from one of your friends or relative for a night rather than hiring a professional agency that will increase your budget.

Remember the important thing is to make this event memorable and special in many ways! So, now you are ready to host a memorable party even at the cost of your low budget criteria. But don’t cut your budget in the “invitations” that are you planning to send to your loved ones! Because these invitations act as an extension of you and your expression of expressing grace to your loved ones!
